Brainstorm :

costume- comfy, dressed like the real mother 

- long sleeves,pants 

Lighting- warm,artificial,

Colour- yellow,orange  

feel-friendly,nice,cooking,perfect mum 

Director - this is the perfect mother of Coraline likes her 

Subtle hardly notice 

-OTHER MOTHER 2-

taller,still covered,less soft 

Colour/Lighting:

wearing black / red 

Feel- homely, warm, safe  

-OTHER MOTHER 3-

Costume- beetle like dress, black spotty 

with some red show's more skin more 

light fitting,

Physical- Skinner,Sharper nose,elbows,rear,

back of head 

Light- darker 

feel-mysterious,little off 

Director-  slowly showing 

she is not like the real mother

-OTHER MOTHER 4-

costume-really tight,

lots of skin,more insect like 

physical-longer,skinny,skin + bone,

lots of sharp edges- head arms 

feel- boring,scary,unapproachable

Director- Shows the Other mother isn't perfect,

wants to steal Coraline not love her anymore 

-OTHER MOTHER 5- 

costume-almost nothing,rags

Physical-Only metal bones,no skin needles for fingers,

multiple legs like an insect.

Colour/Light-green,dark,artificial 

feel-sinister,evil,horrifying

Director- Coraline finally sees her 

as her real evil Soul Stealing self.
