Deforestation is defined as an act of cleaning a wide area of trees caused by humans nor climate change people do this because they require some wood for a living, for changing technology purposes and can you imagine life without them. Almost earth’s things are Products made from forests and by the time comes the earth can produce or regrow more trees. And the trees are 71% of the earth’s surface so this means if we don’t do sustainability about it meaning we only need to get the right amount that we need the earth will be imbalance because the trees produce the most important thing to live and if without this land species will go extinct and we humans will not exist. Some highest forest in the world is Brazil, Canada, Russia, and more usually big country means large required of woods. If this continues The earth will be imbalance and the only way to solve it is too easy to do don’t cut down trees because it affects our environment and it can affect our rainforest and it will cause climate change, desertification, soil erosion, flooding, and it can increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

WORKSHOP 3
*what type of colours are used in each world?
*How do the different colour palettes change the feel if the story?
*What if the colour palettes were reversed?
A. real world: - Study
- dark,grey,blues,greens,
- natural light,
feel- sad,lonely,depressed,miserable,dusty,old,dirty,crowned
B. other world: - Study
colours - orange,artificial,reds,greys
-warm,artificial light
feel - happy,bright,existing,relaxed,clean,tidy,spacious
director-make it look like the kind of place Coraline
would like to live in
-shows the other father is active and awake. This
father has time to talk to her.
STATEMENT EXAMPLE
Colour is important in creating the two worlds
the theme 'looks can be decieving This is shown when
comparing the Study's in the real and other worlds.
The real study is dull, dowdy and cold with a grey and
blue colour palette. This makes the audience feel like the
space is miserable and unpleasant to be in The director did
this to show that Coraline is upset that her father is too busy
to spend time with her. Juxtaposed to this is the study in the
Other World. Artificial oranges and reds make the other study
feel warm, welcome, and enticing. Selick does this to show
the audience that this is the kind of world Coraline would like
to live in. Colour is used to make the other world feel like a
safe place but it is actually a trap to lure in Coraline and seal her
soul.
Theme big ideas
*looks can be deceiving
*Courage and bravery
*be careful what you wish for
explain how the audience feels.
explain how the director did to show.
explain how it works with something else.
