Acid Rain Experiment

What is Acid Rain> How does it from?  Why does Acid rain matter?
- Acid rain is rain or any other form of participation that is usually 
Acidic, meaning that it has elevated levels of hydrogen ions. 
It can have harmful effects on plants, aquatic animals, and infrastructure. 
- Acid Rain matters because it can affect our environment. It affects on Plants, aquatic animals, and infrastructure.
- Acid rain is caused by a chemical reaction that begins when compounds like sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are released into the air. These substances can rise very high into the atmosphere, where they mix and react with water, oxygen, and other chemicals to form more acidic pollutants, known as acid rain.

Method: 
1. Set up Petri Dish 
* Add few drops of water to these 

2. Add 1 spatula of sodium sulfide to weigh boat 
* Take starting photo 

3. Add 5 drops of sulfate Acid and quickly put the lid on 

4. watch and take photos.

Observation:
-The Blue litmus paper turned into red which means it becomes acidic.
Bromothymol Blue turned Blue - Yellow
Universal Indicator turned Green - Red

Creative Story 

The Sun. “Gold Shining”. As I see a rainbow from up the clouds. It is as Red rose in a Garden, As orange as the Sun on a hot day, The Yellow as my clock in school, As green as grass on a Field, Is as blue as the sky up high, and as violet as my coloring pen. As then I saw a Unicorn up the Hill suddenly I was shocked as I thought it didn’t exist. Her existence is like the sunshine Bringing light into my world. It was like a Dream on what I was visualizing. Minutes later the Unicorn comes closer and closer like a magnet. And it let me a pat her at the back. Later that I found out it was going night time. As I fall asleep. I wake up and it was all a very good Dream as good as thoughts of Consequences.

Universal Indicator - Shows if acid or base

- by changing color 

The PH scale measures how acidic or basic a substance is. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14. A pH of 7 is neutral. A pH less than 7 is acidic 

   Blue ---- Green ---- Red  = pH scale 

Acid ------Neutral-----Base

-All acids contain hydrogen ions and they release them in water. 

*Hydrochloric Acid - What is an acid? 

- it is capable of corroding and dissolving a substance. 

*Sodium Hydroxide - What is a base?

- A substance that, in aqueous, release hydroxide

*What is a Neutralization reaction?

- When an acid reacts to a base react to form water and salt and involves the combination.

Experiment:

Explanation: We mixed other bases of Acids and find out the colors

Green - Sudiom Hydroxide + Universal Indicator + Hydrochloric Acid + Universal Indicator 

Red - Hydrochloric Acid  + Universal Indicator + Sodium hydroxide 

Orange - Hydrochloric Acid + Universal Indicator 

Blue - Sodium Hydroxide + Universal Indicator 

Light Blue Sodium Hydroxide + Universal Indicator + Sodium Hydroxide
